Day trip to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings

Early in the morning you will be comfortably picked up from your hotel and travel in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle via Safaga along the newly developed desert road. After about 225 km you reach the Nile Valley at Qena, with a short break at a rest stop to stretch your legs or for a toilet stop.

The journey continues along the densely populated country road to Luxor (about 60 km), passing numerous small and larger villages, so that you get an authentic insight into the daily life of the Egyptian villages.

Your adventure begins in Luxor:

Karnak Temple: After a short refreshment break, you will visit the largest temple complex in the world with its impressive pillar hall.
